【Trading volume is picking up, but the price isn’t budging: QNT is becoming a bit of a thorn in my side】

The most striking on-chain anomaly is that QNT trading activity is rising and participation is increasing, yet the price remains range-bound. It’s down 1.2% over 24 hours but up 5.5% over 7 days. There’s no clear direction—it feels like both bulls and bears are waiting for the other side to show its hand first.

When I was watching QNT a while back, I was focused on whether interoperability could translate into real business. On-chain activity is up, but is money actually flowing from the concept into the business? That’s what matters in practice: cross-chain services, node operators, and liquidity providers will be affected first. Whether the project itself benefits depends on real usage and recurring revenue, not partnership logos. The logic sounds solid, but I haven’t yet seen enough evidence that it’s paying off.

My focus has shifted from “waiting for sentiment to recover” to watching how volume and price move together. The sentiment index has fallen to 30, which is certainly weighing on the market. If price still can’t make a meaningful move despite rising volume, we’ll soon see whether there’s genuine buying support or just rotation among traders.

What I’m stuck on isn’t whether it goes up or down, but whether on-chain activity is turning into orders. Are you watching for a breakout, waiting for the data, or already itching to jump in?
