Just to add, when I saw the stats showing $13.94 million in liquidations over the past hour, my first thought wasn't to see which side got wrecked more, but to be glad I haven't been using high leverage lately.
Most of the liquidations this time were long positions (89.6%), with the biggest concentration at $BTC . With futures, staying alive matters more than making a quick buck.
