PYTH is having a brutal day. It’s currently at 0.06, down a staggering 19.37% over the past 24 hours, with a trading volume of 11M USDT, according to Binance real-time data. That’s one of the steepest drops among smaller altcoins, and the volume isn’t small either—so this doesn’t look like minor shakeout trading; people are genuinely dumping. I checked in this morning but didn’t dare buy in. Looking at the price action now, there’s no need to rush into buying the dip in the short term. Better to wait until the panic selling has run its course. MVLLB and GTC are down too, and TIA has also taken a hit. Sentiment across the altcoin market is pretty gloomy.

A word about position sizing: it’s easy to get carried away in a market like this. My rule is to use the Kelly criterion to calculate a maximum, then cut that position size in half in practice. I’d rather make less than get liquidated. Fixed-percentage sizing works too: risk no more than 2% of your total capital on any single trade. Don’t keep adding to a losing position and stubbornly hold on. If it rises, add using a pyramid strategy, with smaller additions as the price goes higher. Don’t build an inverted pyramid and bury yourself.

You learn after taking losses that staying in the game matters more than anything. The above is only my personal opinion and does not constitute investment advice.
