Market Notes | $NEAR | Breaks below the 4.3 level
First, some definitions: A support level is a price zone where prices have repeatedly stopped falling in the past. A resistance level (also called a pressure level) is an area where prices have repeatedly encountered resistance while rising.
A common interpretation: Volatility can increase near these levels. Leveraged positions need more room here, and stop-losses placed too close to round numbers can easily get triggered.
Unusually high readings often signal more intense volatility. At such times, it’s better to reduce position sizes rather than make a large bet.
