🚨 Cold wallet with a “bug”: Trezor warns of possible implant in Safe 5
A user reported an additional circuit board inside a Trezor Safe 5 device purchased from CryptoBilis. According to the user, it could read the seed phrase from the screen and send it over a mobile network.
Trezor has not yet examined the device in a lab, but considers the report credible. So far, there are no confirmed cases of Trezor customers losing funds through this seller.
The warning applies to all Trezor models purchased from CryptoBilis since March 2026.
The manufacturer recommends:
▫️ transferring assets to a new wallet with a new seed phrase: restoring the old one on another device will not eliminate the risk;
▫️ not setting up a device that has not yet been activated or entering an existing seed phrase into it;
▫️ keeping the wallet and contacting Trezor support for a replacement.
Previously, a hardware implant was confirmed in a Ledger device from the same seller.#fomcвідстеження #$1.5BInLeveragedCryptoBetsLiquidated #AmazonSharesFallAbout7%InPremarketTrading #USMidtermElections #BinanceWillListPredictPREDICT $USDC
