SOL has lost its $100 mark: it’s now at $96.42, down 3.92% in 24 hours, sliding from a high of $102.81 before finally braking at a low of $92.90.

SOL isn’t the only one in a bad mood. Bitcoin is at $77,324, down 3.46%; Ethereum is at $2,233, down 3.88%; and BNB has fallen even harder, to $699, down 5.4%.

With the whole market heading down, this isn’t one coin catching a cold—it’s a collective chill. The aftershocks from this morning’s turmoil haven’t fully died down yet.

I think SOL is now a textbook case of “looking for a foothold after a breakdown”: $100 has turned from a floor into a ceiling. Until it gets back above that level, every rebound deserves the question: is this a bull trap?

The good news is that the bounce off $92.90 was fairly solid. The bad news is that momentum clearly fades above $96, and the bulls still haven’t caught their breath.

The invalidation condition is clear: if the daily candle closes back above $100, my assessment is void. On the other hand, if it breaks below the $92.90 low, the next level to watch is the $90 round-number mark.

This is analysis, not a call to trade. Weigh your own position size.

Which side are you on: is this a bargain created by the sell-off, or should we sit tight and watch after the breakdown?
