Here is research on BNB (Binance Coin) — covering market cap/FDV, supply/unlocks, token utility, burns, and price scenarios. I separate facts, estimates/calculations, and opinions.

Access date: October 30, 2026, Western Indonesia Time.

1. Quick summary

Metric BNB

Price at time of access $713,86

Market cap $93,9 billion

FDV $93,9 billion

Circulating supply 131,5 million BNB

Max/total supply 131,5 million BNB

24-hour volume $4,5 billion

Ranking #4

Latest burn 1.646.196,44 BNB

Supply after burn 131.512.085 BNB

The market cap, FDV, price, 24-hour volume, and supply figures above are from Binance’s official price page, updated October 30, 2026, at 06:48 UTC.

My initial conclusion: fundamentally, BNB is one of the strongest tokens because it has two major sources of utility at once: the Binance ecosystem as a CEX and BNB Chain as a blockchain. But its valuation is already very high, so further growth requires real growth in usage, not just the effect of burns.

2. Where does Binance actually make money?

It's important to distinguish Binance as a company/exchange from BNB as a token.

Binance's business

Binance is essentially a crypto financial ecosystem that includes:

- spot trading

- futures/derivatives

- Earn

- Launchpool

- Megadrop

- payments

- Web3

- staking

- institutional services

- various on-chain products

BNB was originally created as a Binance utility token, mainly to get discounts on trading fees. But it later developed into the native asset of BNB Chain.

User scale

Official Binance data dated April 21, 2026, says Binance had reached 316 million users. Binance also stated that about 30% of global CEX spot volume was on its platform on April 20, 2026.

Important note: I could not find a newer official Binance figure for total users as of October 30, 2026. So 316 million is not the current user count, but the latest official figure I could find.

---

3. BNB Chain: Is the token actually being used?

This is one of the most important parts of the fundamental analysis.

Data from the official BNB Chain page I accessed showed approximately:

- 5.28 million daily active users

- $5.5 billion TVL

- $2.39 billion trading volume

- gas fee of about $0.00324

- finality of about 650 ms

These figures are a snapshot from when I accessed the page, not a 30/90-day cumulative total.

BNB Chain also says BNB is used for transactions on BNB Smart Chain, opBNB, and BNB Greenfield, as well as for staking and governance.

So there is a fairly clear economic relationship:

Users → transactions → need for BNB → demand for BNB utility

But don't oversimplify this to mean "more transactions always mean a higher BNB price." BNB gas fees are very cheap, so transaction growth does not automatically generate significant revenue.

---

4. Market cap vs. FDV

At the time of access:

Market cap ≈ $93.9 billion

FDV ≈ $93.9 billion

Because:

131.5 million circulating supply ≈ 131.5 million maximum supply

so market cap ≈ FDV in practice.

This is a fairly positive point compared with tokens that, for example, have only 20–30% of their supply in circulation.

Is there a risk of major unlocks?

Not like with many new altcoins.

BNB does not have a tokenomics model that relies on periodic investor/team unlocks like many new projects do.

Instead, BNB's supply is designed to decrease.

BNB originally had a supply of 200 million tokens, and its burn mechanism targets a final supply of 100 million BNB.

In 2019, Binance also stated that the team's allocation of 80 million BNB would be forfeited and burned as part of its commitment to reach a 100 million supply.

So BNB's main risk is not major unlocks.

Its main risk is more about:

> demand for BNB not growing as fast as the market expects.

---

5. The latest burn: Is it significant?

On October 19, 2026, BNB Chain completed its 37th quarterly BNB burn.

Amount burned:

1,646,196.44 BNB

Supply after the burn:

131,512,085 BNB

The value of the BNB burned at the time was estimated at around:

$1.197 billion

However, $1.197 billion does not mean Binance spent $1.197 billion buying BNB on the market. It is the value of the tokens burned, based on the price at the time of the burn.

Estimated burn percentage

Compared with the supply after the burn:

1.646 million / 131.512 million ≈ 1.25%

So the latest burn reduced supply by about 1.25%.

This is quite significant from a tokenomics perspective.

In addition to the quarterly Auto-Burn, BNB Chain also has a real-time burn mechanism for a portion of gas fees through BEP-95.

---

6. Does burning automatically make BNB bullish?

Not automatically.

Burning creates positive supply pressure:

Supply ↓

But the price still depends on:

Demand ↑ or ↓

For example:

If supply falls by 1% but demand falls by 20%, the price can still go down.

That's why I pay more attention to:

1. Binance users

2. trading volume

3. BNB Chain activity

4. TVL

5. stablecoin activity

6. number of transactions

7. use of BNB as gas

8. growth of Binance products

rather than simply the number of BNB burned.

7. Volume, fees, and revenue — the often-misleading part

This section should be labeled DATA NOT AVAILABLE.

Binance revenue over 30 days

Not officially available.

Binance is not a public company that publishes quarterly income statements like Coinbase, so I could not find an official disclosure stating:

> "Binance generated $X in revenue over the last 30 days."

Binance revenue over 90 days

Not officially available.

Binance fees over 30 days

Not officially available as a company-wide revenue/fees total.

Binance fees over 90 days

Not officially available.

Binance volume over 30/90 days

I also could not find an official figure that I could responsibly use as a 30/90-day total as of October 30, 2026.

What is officially available are certain snapshots/market-share figures. For example, Binance reported about 30% of global CEX spot market share on April 20, 2026.

Since you asked me not to make anything up, I won't estimate 30/90-day volume based only on 24-hour volume.

---

8. BNB Chain activity data over 30/90 days

The data here is better than Binance's revenue data.

BNB Chain provides a dashboard and DappBay with on-chain activity data.

On October 28, 2026, DappBay recorded:

20.29 million daily transactions/accounts activity on BNB Smart Chain, according to the page's metric.

PancakeSwap itself recorded around the following in that snapshot:

476 thousand users over 7 days and 6.2 million transactions.

But I could not find an official report presenting one consistent figure for:

> "total BNB Chain fees + revenue over 30 days"

"total BNB Chain fees + revenue over 90 days"

So I am not claiming those figures are available.

---

9. BNB's economic benefits

BNB has fairly broad utility.

1. Gas

BNB is used to pay for transactions on BNB Chain.

2. Staking

BNB is used to help secure the network and earn rewards through staking.

3. Binance trading

BNB can be used to receive certain trading fee discounts on Binance.

4. Launchpool/Megadrop/HODLer Airdrops

BNB can be used to participate in various Binance ecosystem programs.

5. Governance

BNB has a governance function on BNB Chain.

6. DeFi

BNB is used as an asset in various DeFi applications, including for gas payments and within the liquidity ecosystem.

So BNB is not just a:

> "Binance discount token."

It has developed into a core asset of a blockchain + exchange ecosystem.

---

10. Comparison with competitors

I'm using OKB and CRO because both are more relevant as tokens connected to exchange ecosystems.

Factor BNB OKB CRO

Market cap $93.9B ~$2.36B ~$2.73B

FDV $93.9B ~$2.36B ~$5.38B

Circulating supply 131.5M 21M 50.75B

Max supply 131.5M 21M 100B

Burn Yes Yes Has a different mechanism/tokenomics

Exchange utility Binance OKX Crypto.com

Blockchain utility Very strong X Layer Cronos

Ecosystem scale Very large Smaller Smaller

OKB data for October 30, 2026, shows a market cap of around $2.36 billion, an FDV of around $2.36 billion, and a supply of 21 million.

CRO has a market cap of around $2.73 billion and an FDV of $5.38 billion, with around 50.75 billion CRO in circulation out of a maximum supply of 100 billion.

What's most striking?

BNB's valuation is around 40×+ that of CRO or OKB.

That means:

BNB is much larger, but market expectations for BNB are also much higher.

So I wouldn't say:

> "BNB is cheap because it's the market leader."

Being the market leader doesn't automatically make it cheap.

---

11. BNB vs. Coinbase

Coinbase is a little different because it doesn't have an exchange token equivalent to BNB.

But as a business competitor, Coinbase is highly relevant.

Coinbase's official data for Q3 2026:

- net income: $719 million

- adjusted EBITDA: $333 million

- crypto trading volume market share: 10.7%

- subscriptions & services = 49% of net revenue

- paid Coinbase One subscribers up 24% YoY

- average USDC held in Coinbase products: $22 billion.

This shows the difference between the business models:

Binance/BNB:

CEX + blockchain + token

Coinbase:

CEX + custody + stablecoin + Base + subscriptions + financial products

Coinbase even generates revenue from many sources that don't directly depend on trading.

12. Three BULLISH reasons

🟢 1. The Binance ecosystem is very large

Binance reported 316 million users in April 2026 and around 30% of global CEX spot market share during that period.

If Binance continues to maintain its dominance, BNB has very strong fundamental distribution.

---

🟢 2. Supply keeps declining

BNB supply has fallen from:

200 million → around 131.5 million

and the long-term target is:

100 million BNB.

The latest burn alone removed 1.646 million BNB.

This is different from tokens that still face major monthly unlocks.

---

🟢 3. BNB is more than just a CEX token

Demand for BNB comes from:

Binance → BNB Chain → DeFi → DApps → gas → staking → governance → Launchpool/Megadrop

BNB Chain currently shows around 5.28 million daily active users on its official dashboard.

If this growth continues, BNB has broader fundamentals than just being an exchange token.

---

13. Three main risks

🔴 1. The valuation is already very high

Market cap of around:

$93.9 billion

This means BNB is no longer in the "small cap that just needs to find product-market fit" phase.

To rise much further, demand would need to increase significantly.

---

🔴 2. Binance regulatory risk

BNB still has a strong economic connection and market perception tied to Binance.

Although BNB Chain has developed into its own ecosystem, major problems at Binance could affect:

trust → volume → demand for BNB → BNB price.

---

🔴 3. Blockchain and exchange competition

BNB faces competition from:

- Ethereum/L2

- Solana

- Hyperliquid

- Coinbase/Base

- OKX

- Crypto.com/Cronos

- other DEXs

Especially if more traders and developers move to other networks, activity on BNB Chain could slow down.

---

14. Bullish / Base / Bearish

I am not giving a numerical price target, as you requested.

🟢 BULLISH scenario

This happens if:

- Binance users keep increasing

- Binance's volume share remains strong

- BNB Chain maintains user growth

- TVL and stablecoin activity increase

- DeFi/DApps continue to grow

- burns continue to reduce supply

- demand for BNB increases faster than selling pressure

Implication: BNB's fundamentals get stronger, and the market may assign it a higher valuation.

---

🟡 BASE scenario

Binance remains one of the largest exchanges.

BNB Chain remains active, but its growth is normal.

Supply continues to decline through burns, but demand does not surge.

Implication: BNB remains a large and strong asset, but price appreciation depends more on the overall crypto market cycle.

---

🔴 BEARISH scenario

This happens if:

- Binance volume falls significantly

- market share shifts to competitors

- BNB Chain activity weakens

- regulatory pressure increases

- a prolonged crypto bear market

- user growth stalls

- demand for BNB falls faster than the benefit of burns

In this situation, burns would not be enough to save the price.

Supply going down ≠ price is guaranteed to rise.

---

15. My fundamental assessment

I’ll provide an assessment not as a buy/sell recommendation, but in terms of fundamental quality:

Factor Assessment

Product-market fit 🟢 Very strong

Users 🟢 Very strong

Liquidity 🟢 Very strong

Token utility 🟢 Very strong

Tokenomics 🟢 Strong

Unlock risk 🟢 Low

Burn mechanism 🟢 Strong

Business diversification 🟢 Strong

Competition 🟡 High

Regulatory risk 🔴/🟡 High

Valuation 🟡 Not cheap

Binance revenue transparency 🟡 Limited

My conclusion

BNB is one of the crypto assets with the most comprehensive fundamentals—not simply because Binance is a large exchange, but because BNB now connects a CEX + blockchain + DeFi + staking + gas + Launchpool + various Web3 applications.

What I like most about its fundamentals is that supply is already close to 131.5 million and FDV is almost the same as market cap, so dilution risk from unlocks is relatively low.

However, a $93.9 billion market cap is no small valuation. So the bullish thesis for BNB is no longer "Binance has the potential to become big," but rather:

> "Binance is already very big — are user growth, volume, BNB Chain, and demand for BNB still strong enough to justify an ever-higher valuation?"

And there is one important data limitation: Binance does not provide sufficiently comprehensive public reports to calculate revenue, fees, and 30/90-day volume as a public company would, so I have deliberately not made up those figures.
