SOL / Solana analysis โ today, October 30, 2026:
Current situation:
- Current price: around $97, after falling from above $120 in late September
- It fell today to an intraday low of $92.14, then rebounded to $97
- Down about 16% over the last 30 days, with the month overall in the red
Why the decline?
1. Binance breach: Yesterday, Binance announced a theft estimated at $6.3 billion. TRM Labs attributed it to the North Korean group TraderTraitor, triggering a massive $1.5 billion liquidation wave across the market. SOL liquidations alone amounted to $82.6 million
2. Outflows from SOL funds: U.S. ETF funds recorded 4 consecutive days of outflows, with $27.69 million flowing out on October 29 alone, and total outflows of $60-99 million in October
3. Weak network activity: DEX volume fell from $19 billion to $12.3 billion, and application fees fell 37% ceb6d5d79d9e
Technical analysis:
- The price broke below $100, an important psychological level that had provided support throughout the week
- All moving averages are above the price: SMA 7 at $101.60, SMA 20 at $104.46, SMA 50 at $109.44 โ indicating a clear downtrend.
- Indicators are in oversold territory: Stochastic %K at 11.15 and %D at 8.92 are deeply oversold; RSI is around 33-35, close to 30
- Bollinger %B is at 0.09, meaning the price is hugging the lower band
Key levels:
- Support: $94.2-$92 is the critical zone; if it breaks, the next target is $77-$84
- Resistance: $100-$103 has now become resistance, followed by $108-$110 and then $120
- The 200-day long-term moving average at $88.77 is the last strong support
The only positive point:
The Solana network activated the Alpenglow upgrade on October 21, reducing transaction confirmation time from 12.8 seconds to just 150ms, but the market ignored it because of negative news. Samsung said it would add USDC transfers via Solana to its wallet by the end of October.
Summary - scenarios for the end of 2026:
Analysts break it down like this:
- Bearish: $55-$85 if fund outflows continue
- Base: $90-$125
- Bullish: $150-$225; requires liquidity to return + actual adoption 1865
The market is currently in a state of fear, with Fear & Greed at 30. Short-term trading is very risky below $100. For the long term, many analysts see $92-$95 as an accumulation zone for gradual buying, but with a stop-loss if it decisively breaks below $90. 5336
