Investigation update: According to the initial investigation, this security incident may have involved a compromised laptop. However, during the follow-up investigation, we discovered other possible points of entry.
This was a relatively sophisticated attack. We are working closely with law enforcement and doing everything we can to resolve the incident. We are still verifying the relevant facts and will share updates as soon as we have more confirmed information.
Binance will cover all losses resulting from the theft through the SAFU Fund and its own funds. Please rest assured that user funds are safe.
The restoration of withdrawals is still on track and is expected to be completed within the next 45 hours. Deposits are unaffected.
