【Breaking】Binance says it found more points of intrusion; withdrawals expected to resume within 45 hours
Binance has revised its own claim that “only one laptop was hacked,” and uncertainty around BNB has yet to subside.

At around 16:47 Beijing time, Binance posted an investigation update on X: the initial assessment was that an engineer’s computer had been compromised, but further investigation uncovered more points of intrusion. The incident is now described as a “sophisticated attack,” and Binance is still working with law enforcement to gather the facts.

For users: Binance reiterated that it would cover all losses using the SAFU Fund and its own funds. Deposits are unaffected, and withdrawals are expected to resume within 45 hours—based on the update time, around the afternoon of November 1. Approximately $3 billion in affected assets has been frozen, and total impact is estimated at around $6.3 billion.

At 17:35, BNB was at 704.1, with the 1h chart still showing a bearish structure.

My take: More points of intrusion means the review could take longer, and any rebound before withdrawals resume is likely to be just a relief bounce. If the price rebounds to the 730–766 resistance zone (overlapping with MA99 at 740.9) but fails to break through, I’d continue watching 680, then 665 if that level breaks. This view is invalidated if the 1h candle closes above 773.

Do you think withdrawals will resume on time?
