$SOPH $SOXS

Everyone, I’m about to open a large long position on $SOXL .
Take profit: 94.15
Stop loss: 83.8188 👇
You may be wondering the obvious question: why am I going long at this level?
The level speaks for itself.
The latest 15-minute close was 84.79. The 20-day range is 78.01 to 143.24, putting it at the 10.4th percentile.
Going long here is a bet on support near the bottom of the range. I’m not betting on it making back its losses in a day.
I was taken aback when I first saw this setup, and only believed it after checking twice.
A 9.64 risk-reward ratio isn’t about courage—it’s about whose resolve breaks first.
The take-profit at 94.15 is +11.04% from the current price, based on the smaller of the 12-hour opposing extreme and the average daily volatility.
The stop loss at 83.8188 leaves just -1.15% room, like drawing a line at the door: if it breaks, I’m out.
Average daily volatility is 13.54%. Both the take profit and stop loss are within that range, and liquidity hasn’t left. That’s my longstanding rule for setting levels.
Up +2.11% over the past 7 days, it hasn’t collapsed along with the rest. What’s missing is fresh buying—no one is willing to lead the way.
What do you think of this 10.4th-percentile level?
The above is a record of my personal trading system and observations of market data; it does not constitute investment advice.
