🔥 AI just found 3 bugs that can crash $BTC nodes, and Bitcoin Core made them public within days. So is Bitcoin in real danger ? Not from these bugs. The lead flaw, flagged by an AI scan on Oct 23, lets a remote peer flood a node’s memory until it crashes, but only on Windows, macOS and BSD. Linux nodes aren’t affected. Core rated it medium severity, confirmed it the same day and shipped fixes in versions 29.5, 30.4, 31.2 and 32.1. The other two are a slow memory leak (up to 5 MB an hour per outbound peer) and corrupted undo files that can shut a node down during certain reorgs. That fix doesn’t fully cover 32-bit or FAT32 setups. None of them lets an attacker move coins or break consensus. They are denial-of-service bugs. The real story is speed. Core created a fast-track tier for bugs AI can easily find, after one flaw was independently found twice within six days. Three more bugs fixed in 30.0 are due for disclosure in about two weeks. If you run a node, update. #BTC Price Analysis# #AI and Blockchains are made for each other?# #Macro Insights#
