📈 What is a Bitcoin ETF, and why are people talking about “outflows”?
A Bitcoin ETF is a fund traded on the stock market that tracks the price of Bitcoin. Investors buy shares in the fund, and the fund holds actual Bitcoin. No wallet or crypto platform needed.
Why does it matter?
🔹 Inflows: investors buy shares, so the fund buys Bitcoin
🔹 Outflows: investors sell, so the fund sells Bitcoin
📊 Where do things stand?
✅ U.S. Bitcoin ETFs recorded 4 consecutive days of inflows (+$17M on October 29, +$137M on October 28)
⚠️ But over the past 30 days, the overall balance is still negative: around -$292M, a first since late July
What this shows: major investors are still hesitant, even as inflows return.
⚠️ ETF flows don’t predict the price with certainty: they’re an indicator, not a guarantee.
