ZachXBT suspects the Lazarus Group is behind the Binance hack
Binance reportedly experienced an external outflow of assets worth $5.875 billion in various currencies $ETH $BTC and others, with ZachXBT suspecting the involvement of North Korea’s Lazarus Group. There has been no official confirmation yet.
CZ says the actual net loss is slightly over $1 billion, and Binance will cover the full amount. About half of the assets have reportedly been recovered.
