$HYPE is up ~18% in 24h while the rest of the market bleeds. The catalyst: NYSE owner ICE wants to bring Hyperliquid perps onshore in the US.

What's confirmed (ICE, Oct 29):
• Definitive deal with Trade[XYZ] to build a US-regulated, KYC/AML perpetual futures market on Hyperliquid
• ICE becomes exclusive operator and takes a strategic stake
• Still needs regulatory approval, no launch date set

The tape (Binance, 15:20 UTC+9):
• HYPE ~93.1, 24h high 93.67 after a 97.74 spike Oct 29
• 14d range 74.45-97.74
• HYPE futures open interest ~$333M to ~$435M day over day
• Long/short accounts only ~1.23 (55% long)

Compare $BTC: ~78.6K after a 76.5K wick, with ~71% of accounts still long (ratio ~2.48) after a ~$1.5B liquidation day that hit mostly longs (CoinGlass via Yahoo Finance).

My read:
Bull case: holding 88-89 (today's low) keeps the breakout alive and the 97.7 high back in play.
Bear case: approval timelines can drag, and fresh OI chasing a vertical move can unwind fast. A loss of 88 would put the 80-82 area back in focus.

Strength in a red market is a signal, but leverage cuts both ways. Size small, use stops.

Are you trading the HYPE breakout or waiting for a pullback?
