After yesterday’s PCE/GDP figures (GDP 3.4%, PCE 3.6%), BTC broke through $80K, $79.4K, and $78K in a single move. Today it hit a low of $76,500, and is now at $77,960, trying to hold $77K. RSI is 35.9 (near oversold), MACD is -459, and the price is below both the SMA20 at $81,450 and the SMA50 at $81,965 — the trend is still downward.
Resistance: $78,000 → $79,400 → $80,000
Support: $77,000 → $76,500 → $75,000
Scenario 1: If $77K holds and BTC reclaims $78K, a recovery toward $79.4K could open up.
Scenario 2: If $77K breaks, $76.5K and then the $75K zone could come into play.
Events to watch today (PKT): Employment Cost Index at 5:30 PM, Chicago PMI at 6:45 PM, Fed’s Daly at 9:00 PM, Musalem at 9:30 PM, and the Bank of Japan’s decision is also due today.
