You may be wondering the obvious question: why am I going long at this level?

First, the price level. The latest 15-minute candle closed at 0.19316. The 20-day range is 0.15625 to 0.38353,
putting the current price at the 16.2nd percentile.

A low percentile doesn’t necessarily mean it’s cheap, but after falling this far, the 20-day low of 0.15625 is right below us, still some distance from my entry price.

Why am I confident enough to take this direction? The 7-day change is -26.73%—it’s fallen hard, several rounds of hands have changed, and liquidity is still there.

At first glance, I thought I was seeing it wrong. I had to check twice before I believed it could drop this much in seven days.

Why are the take-profit and stop-loss set here? The take-profit at 0.24537 is +27.03% from the current price,
and the stop-loss at 0.173011 is -10.43% from the current price. Both moves are within the 28.65% average daily volatility.

That’s my hard-and-fast rule for setting levels: never place a trade beyond the distance the market can cover in a day.

The risk-reward ratio for this trade is about 2.59.

It’s like the convenience store downstairs—you pass by every day without thinking much of it, but when you really need something, you realize how important it is.

It’s sitting at the 16.2nd percentile, waiting for rotation—not for a direction I call out.

As long as the players haven’t changed, I’m in no hurry to leave.

Let’s hear what you think of this level in the comments.
