$INTC Lost 24 points overnight.
That candle closed at 92.23, then crashed to 70.36 four hours later.
Here’s my thesis: this isn’t panic—it’s repricing.
1. Twenty-three points, all wiped out in those four hours after the close.
2. Large traders’ short positions rose from 12.72% to 23.37%—up ten points. The positions were handed over.
3. Funding rates spiked in the opposite direction to 0.0697%, while 84.40% of retail traders are still adding to their longs.
Put all three together, and the thesis holds.
Panic gets a bounce; repricing doesn’t. Two very different outcomes.
71.29 is right up against 70.36. There’s no reference point below, so the risk-reward can’t be calculated.
I’m neither buying the dip nor chasing it. I’ll wait for the underlying market to open at 21:30.
