First thing in the morning, take a look at the charts: $BTC slid overnight from just over 80,000 to around 78,100 (down about 3.9% in 24h, with a low of 77,729), while $SUI looked more like it was on a slide, down about 7.5% in 24h to 0.871 and about 11% over the past 7 days, with a low of 0.859.
The chart makes it obvious: when Bitcoin sneezes, SUI catches a serious cold. High-beta coins are rockets on the way up, and they don’t hold back on the way down either. The 0.86 area is this week’s low. Whether it holds depends first on how Bitcoin is doing, and $ETH won’t be immune either.
Friday morning: don’t panic-sell because of one big red candle, but don’t rush in to catch a falling knife either. Position sizing matters more than your opinion.
