$ETH —the test postponement removed the nearest reason to expect a launch
...
The Ethereum Foundation postponed the Glamsterdam test on the Hoodi network, which had been planned for October 26. The October 22 announcement did not name a new date. For $ETH this means that the previous calendar-based reason to expect a launch no longer applies. The announcement did not schedule a mainnet upgrade.
ETH's price recovery had already lost its footing, and the latest attempt to reclaim nearby resistance did not get the required close. So the postponement news alone does not prove a new decline: chart weakness and changes to the development schedule need to be assessed separately.
Over the coming week, ETH will have a case for recovery if it closes above 2,360 and holds that level on a pullback. The next test is 2,400. A close below 2,280 would invalidate this new scenario. A possible new date announcement would be a reason to reassess, but it cannot be assumed in advance.
