- The hacker swapped about 230 million USDT into TRX on-chain, and $TRX rose about 10% in one hour
- Tether froze more than 1.567 billion USDT, and Circle froze more than 800 million USDC
- CZ: "It does look like Binance was hacked"
- Binance: security checks are underway; withdrawals will resume after the issue is resolved, and user funds are said to be safe
Binance has not yet announced the total amount stolen, and the rumored 5.6 billion has no verifiable source. BTC is around 79,000, $BNB 24 hours −6.8%.
