Challenge: turning 100U into 100,000U
Day three of the challenge
Don’t underestimate trading just because your position is small
As a form of everyday entertainment, trading can help you cultivate patience and pass the time, while also marking the beginning of developing a compounding mindset. Since my starting capital is extremely small, I shouldn’t use too much leverage, so I don’t lose too much in one go and make it difficult to recover later. Second, I should trade setups with a higher likelihood of success. Even if I get the direction wrong, I should set a stop-loss so I don’t get carried away afterward and blow all my money in one go. I need to stay level-headed—if I can keep at it for a while, I’ll just think of it as paying for internet access. 😁
Today’s recap: I bought ZEC at 1255 and sold it at 1266. My original 100U capital had tripled. Luckily, I added another position and went short at 1380 (I’d originally set my entry at 1400, but after checking the price, I worried it wouldn’t reach 1400 and entered early). At least I caught the move. My capital has gone from yesterday’s 190U to 218U (that means I can keep playing for a little longer 🐳🐳)
