Binance warns of QR-code risks with Agentic Wallets|BNB around $743|Review permissions before talking about a rebound
My stance is cautious and watchful. Binance Wallet has issued a security reminder about Agentic Wallets: don't scan third-party QR codes from unknown sources to log in, and be aware that enabling developer mode can also increase risk. This concerns wallet permissions and operational access; it does not mean that BNB Smart Chain has been attacked, and the warning should not be misrepresented as evidence that assets have already been stolen. Binance's developer documentation lists controls for Agentic Wallets, including QR-code authentication, daily limits, token operation scope, secondary approval, and revocation or logout. Supported networks include BNB Smart Chain. For people using on-chain automation tools, these settings have a more direct bearing on whether a single mistake can turn into ongoing losses than chasing a one-off rebound.
Why might this affect BNB? If trading bots, payment flows, or token swaps on BSC hand login QR codes and signing permissions to an untrusted interface, the risk could spread from a single operation to the wallet balance. Conversely, tightening permissions can make operations less convenient, but helps long-term users manage tail risk. This is an impact at the ecosystem usage level; it does not mean BNB's token fundamentals have definitively changed today, and there is no evidence that this warning directly caused the price to fall. What is worth watching is whether official channels report a specific incident or change the permission design, and whether on-chain activity and fund flows continue to shift.
On price, Kraken's BNB/USD is around $743, below the day's open of about $759.9; the intraday high was about $763.8 and the low about $737. BTC is around $80,563 over the same period, also below its open of about $81,287. This suggests the current pullback has a broader market backdrop, so BNB's weakness cannot be attributed solely to the wallet warning. In the short term, first watch whether the area around $737 holds, then whether price can regain ground around $750 and $760. If it breaks below $737 and the rebound is weak, my rebound thesis is invalidated. Even if it returns to $760, volume and the broader market need to confirm the move; a single breakout should not be treated as a trend reversal.
If I were trading this myself, I wouldn't chase a long position right now, nor would I short BNB because of this security warning. I'd only consider a small spot position in the direction of the trend: if the price regains and holds above $760, then retests the $750–$760 area without breaking below it, while BTC stops weakening in tandem, I would use no more than 4% of my total capital to try a long, without leverage. The first target would be $775; I would take half off near that target. I would hold the rest for $790, but only while continuously moving the protective stop higher. After entry, if the price closes back below $750 or touches $742, I would stop out and exit. I would also exit proactively if an actual security incident is reported, BTC continues falling below its intraday low, or the rebound still cannot clear $775 after three days. If the entry conditions aren't met, I stay out of the market; this is a plan, not a record of executed trades.

Only scan codes from official sources, check limits and callable permissions after granting access, and revoke them immediately if necessary. #BNB
The above is only my personal market observation and does not constitute investment advice.
