Today’s hexagram: Qian over Qian—Heaven moves with vigor; the noble person strives tirelessly.

🔥 HYPE fell back to $80 from $98, and somehow I’m even more convinced?

Let me state my position upfront: I’m a committed HYPE holder. This is a bullish piece—read it or don’t.

First, the snapshot (2026-10-30 02:00 HKT; figures vary slightly across market data sources, so I’m using ranges): The price is around $79–86. On September 23, it had just set an all-time high around $98, and has now pulled back about 20% from the peak. But don’t focus on that one move—cumulative permanent burns have reached 49.87 million HYPE, about 5% of the total supply, worth around $3.9 billion at current prices. The protocol’s all-time revenue is about $1.38 billion, and another roughly 19,700 tokens were burned in the past 24 hours.

The story in one sentence: It got its start with a November 2024 airdrop, distributing 31% directly to 94,000 early users, with zero VC funding; led by Jeff, the team took no venture capital and still turned an on-chain order book into the top player in perpetual futures; on October 28, Kraken’s parent company announced plans to bring compliant perpetual markets to Hyperliquid via HIP-3, while ICE is also set to launch regulated HYPE perpetuals in the US with Trade.xyz—traditional finance is plugging in.

Three points of metaphysical wisdom: HYPE has four letters, corresponding to the four images; when the symbols are complete, so is the momentum. Burning is about “reduction”—not a loss, but a way to draw circulating supply back in, gathering more and more energy. Going from $98 back to $80 is “The Hidden Dragon—Do Not Act” followed by “The Dragon Appears in the Field”—the dip isn’t weakness; it’s shaking out weak hands before the next climb.

Bottom line: I’m the kind who holds and doesn’t sell. When the price falls, I just feel the heavens are making room for those who stay the course. This is bullish talk, of course—set your own position size.

Pick a side in the comments: A, holding strong like me; B, waiting for a lower entry.
