📊 EVERYONE IS BULLISH ON $BTC BITCOIN… BUT IS THAT A WARNING SIGN?

In crypto futures markets, funding rates can reveal how traders are positioned.

Here's why you should pay attention:

🔹 Positive funding: Long-position holders generally pay short-position holders. This can indicate stronger demand for leveraged longs.

🔹 Negative funding: Short-position holders generally pay longs. This can indicate stronger demand for leveraged shorts.

🔹 Extremely elevated funding: Crowded leveraged positions may increase the risk of a sharp move if prices reverse.

🔹 Funding near zero: Neither side is paying a significant funding premium, depending on the exchange and contract.

⚠️ Important: High positive funding doesn't automatically mean Bitcoin will crash, and negative funding doesn't guarantee a rally.

MY TAKE: Don't trade based on funding rates alone. Combine them with open interest, price action, and market liquidity.
