I told her to buy Tron (TRX), but I messed up and sent her a link to a computer I’d been eyeing on a marketplace right afterward. While she was wondering why we needed a computer, Tron tripled in value in 3 days. My sister got scared she was missing out on a rocket and jumped in at the very peak. And, as luck would have it, the coin started crashing right after that.
It was genuinely scary watching the losses pile up in our portfolio. But I didn’t panic. I waited for the price to stop falling and bought more at the very bottom to bring down our average price. In the end, we had about 108 coins. By summer, I’d gotten tired of Tron, moved everything into SUI, and now I’m sitting on a 40% profit.
What did I learn? The scariest thing in crypto is buying emotionally when a coin is already shooting up. And I should probably stop messing up links in chat, too. 😂
