Everyone, this track called #代币化 is pretty crowded today.
After checking a few sources, here’s my recap.
The Bank of England is publicly consulting on tokenized collateral for clearing. Meanwhile, Chainlink has added weekend pricing for tokenized assets,
and Aave was the first to jump on board.
Some are trying to land the first tokenized stock trade within the regulatory framework, while names like Walmart and Eli Lilly are on the opposing list.
There’s certainly plenty of buzz.
I pulled up three related assets: $LINK closed at 11.9, $AAVE at 136.02,
and $ONDO at 0.4294. Their 7-day changes were -1.228%, -7.902%, and -0.625%, respectively;
not one of them outperformed.
All three assets were in the red over the past 7 days. Their 20-day range percentiles were 29.8%, 17.1%, and 24.3%, respectively—all in the lower half.
The narrative is racing ahead, while the money sits on the sidelines.
It’s like a generator has been roaring away for ages, but the lights still haven’t come on.
Weekend pricing essentially adds trading hours to a market that was already open year-round. I’m on board with the direction. Honestly, the price isn’t buying it. What’s holding things up?
Until a whitelist for clearing goes live, capital won’t dare take a position. The disagreements along this path haven’t been resolved, and no one has stepped in to absorb the supply.
If I’m looking for clues, I’m watching two things: when the whitelist comes out, and who gets the first compliant trade.
What do you all think? Let’s talk in the comments.
