On October 28, 2026, authorities from the U.S., Germany, the Netherlands, and the United Kingdom dismantled Virtualine, a “bulletproof” hosting provider. The operation, supported by OverRIPE and Lumen, seized the main domain and dozens of physical servers in Limburg, the Netherlands, taking hundreds of virtual servers offline. Data from more than 3,000 customers was recovered, and they now face legal action. Virtualine facilitated illicit activities under various identities, including Secury and Spamhouse.
