Curve ventures beyond EVM for the first time: now live natively on Stellar mainnet, with institutional demand driving multichain expansion

- According to reports by Binance News and Odaily (published at 19:04 Beijing time on October 29), Curve Finance has launched on Stellar mainnet, marking its first native deployment on a non-EVM blockchain. Curve and the Stellar Development Foundation announced that StableSwap is now available, allowing users to permissionlessly create liquidity pools, swap assets, and provide liquidity.
- Founder Michael Egorov said that the expansion to non-EVM chains was partly driven by institutional demand, and that Stellar’s user experience is relatively close to the existing EVM experience. The FXSwap foreign-exchange product is planned to launch after completing its audit; no specific timeline has been announced yet.
- According to DeFiLlama, Curve’s current total value locked is around $1.27 billion. Actual TVL and trading volume on Stellar remain to be seen—and are key to assessing the success of this expansion.

My view: Short-term outlook for $CRV is neutral, as this is a long-term ecosystem expansion rather than a short-term capital-driven move. We still need to see how actual TVL and trading volume on Stellar develop.
