A solo miner hit the jackpot: $253 000 with only 16 TH/s of power!
In the world of cryptocurrencies, incredible miracles happen.
Yesterday, a lone miner with a tiny hashrate of only about 16 TH/s managed to independently mine block #973413 and claim the well-deserved reward of 3.1397 BTC!
Why is this a sensation?
Astronomical odds: With such modest power, competing with huge industrial mining farms is practically impossible. The probability of finding a block in solo mode with 16 TH/s is comparable to winning a major lottery.
Impressive haul: This lucky block brought its owner about $253 000 at the current rate.
