Bitwise raised its 10-year target from $1.3 million to $1.6 million, based on an annualized return of 34.3%.

On 10/28, it officially announced its “2027 Bitcoin Long-Term Capital Market Assumptions”: Institutions hold around $147 trillion. If they allocate 1%–5% to Bitcoin over the next 10 years, that would represent demand of around $1.5–7 trillion, while annual new supply is only about $14 billion. The base-case scenario projects $1.6 million; the bear case is around $130,700, and the bull case around $3.67 million.

The takeaway: a long-term bullish narrative around institutional adoption—but don’t treat price targets as short-term trading signals.

Which do you find more convincing: the “$1.6 million base case” or “let’s first see whether institutional allocations can keep pace”?
