🚨 Security issue with Solflare’s staking service! New validator nodes are live, and users who migrate will also be compensated for staking rewards!
When staking crypto assets, returns matter, of course—but security is the bottom line! ⚠️
On October 29, reports said that Solflare announced new validator nodes are now live following a security incident involving its staking service provider.
What should affected users do? You can now unstake from Solflare (Legacy) and stake your assets with the new validator nodes, or wait for an app update and then complete the migration in a few steps.
More notably, Solflare said it will compensate users for staking rewards missed due to the migration.
💡 My take: staking isn’t simply a matter of depositing your coins and forgetting about them—the service provider and validator nodes behind it deserve just as much attention.
Many people focus only on the annual yield and overlook one important issue: no matter how high the returns are, problems with the underlying service can affect your ability to manage your assets, migrate, and keep your funds safe.
If you’re using the service, check the official announcement first and confirm your staking status and migration method. Don’t trust unfamiliar links, and never share your wallet’s recovery phrase or private keys.
🔥 In crypto, returns determine how much you can earn; security determines whether you can keep playing. Protect your principal first, then think about returns—that’s the long-term approach!$ETH $PEPE $BTC
