After the news came out, I asked just three questions about the money:
1. Are large orders skewing more toward buying or selling?
2. Is trading volume for $BTC ($1.133 billion over 24 hours) continuing to grow?
3. Are there any large on-chain transfers out of trading platforms?
Only when all three point in the same direction can we say the news is being validated by the money; otherwise, it’s probably just a passing gust.
News usually affects sentiment first, but the money is what determines the direction.
