U.S. spot Solana ETF flows saw a notable shift over the past week: daily outflows were modest, but the pattern changed.
1. On October 28, net outflows were about $5.7 million, marking the third consecutive trading day of outflows. The previous two trading days saw outflows of about $19.2 million on October 27 and $8.2 million on October 26, for a combined three-day outflow of about $33.1 million.
2. Across the seven trading days from October 20 to 28, net outflows totaled about $44 million. By comparison, cumulative flows over the past 30 trading days remained positive at about $135.3 million. The recent weakness has not erased the inflows built up over nearly a month.
3. By fund, the October 28 outflow was concentrated in a single product. Bitwise’s BSOL saw net outflows of about $5.7 million that day, accounting for all market-wide outflows; other funds reported zero outflows or had yet to report. BSOL’s cumulative net inflows were about $1.16 billion, or roughly 63.2% of cumulative inflows under this measure.
4. The price did not move sharply in tandem. Solana closed at about $101.29 on October 28, compared with about $100.91 on October 27 and $101.33 on October 26. For comparison, it closed at about $111.29 on October 12, a decline of roughly 9% over two weeks. Outflows and the price pullback are moving in the same direction, but neither has been particularly severe.
What we’re seeing so far looks more like a cooling of inflows near recent highs than a mass exit. Redemptions do not necessarily mean investors are bearish; closing arbitrage positions can flow through the same channel, so it’s easy to overinterpret outflow figures in isolation. The key things to watch next are whether outflows continue into a fourth or fifth consecutive trading day, and whether the price can hold the $100 level. $SOL
Just my personal opinion; this is not investment advice.
