END OF THE “LANGUAGE LOOPHOLE”: How to keep trading Futures after October 27 🚨
If you trade Futures and used the app in English (or another language) to get around restrictions in Brazil, time is running out. Due to new requirements from the Central Bank and CVM, Binance’s Brazilian structure is changing.
To keep opening orders on futures contracts without restrictions (Reduce-Only Mode), you’ll need to accept the new terms.
What changes in practice?
Your account will be split across two invisible structures:
Binance Brazil: Handles the Spot market, deposits, and withdrawals via Pix. International Account (Abu Dhabi): A new entity exclusively for the Futures market.
Step-by-step guide to regularizing your account:
Go to your app settings and change the language to Portuguese (Brazil). The migration pop-up is only triggered for accounts with Brazilian KYC when using the local language.
Restart the app. The migration notice will appear on the main screen.
Accept the new terms and check the option to link your Futures positions to the international account. If the pop-up doesn’t appear, click the Futures tab to trigger the consent request. After accepting, you can switch back to your preferred language.
What will your trading flow look like?
The flow remains exactly the same in the interface and completely free:
BRL via Pix ➔ Brazil Spot Account ➔ Buy USDT ➔ Internal transfer to Futures (Abu Dhabi)
Maker/Taker fees and BNB discounts remain exactly the same.
⚠️ Tax rule reminder:
USDT purchases on Spot are reported locally by Binance Brazil. However, profits and trades in the international Futures account are not automatically reported to the Brazilian tax authorities. Reporting foreign capital gains remains entirely your responsibility.
Regularize your contract before October 27 to avoid restrictions! 📊
