$BTC Today, let’s take a detailed look back at BTC and ETH, and discuss how to make a trading plan and adjust your strategy when facing unrealized losses. Put simply, before the target price is reached, unrealized profits and losses are just part of the process, so you shouldn’t let them trigger too much emotion. BTC has recently been trading around $80,000, while ETH’s rebound has been relatively weak. Fed rate expectations, ETF fund flows, and the expiry of options at the end of the month remain important short-term factors. Key BTC levels: Support: $80,000–$80,300; below that, watch $79,100–$79,500. Resistance: $81,500–$82,500; a breakout could open the way to $83,000–$84,300. Key ETH levels: Support: $2,300–$2,315; below that, watch $2,275–$2,290. Resistance: $2,380–$2,420; a breakout could open the way to $2,480–$2,520. I’m holding a 20x leveraged BTC long position near $82,000. My current plan is to watch for signs of recovery as long as $80,000 holds, and look to higher resistance levels if the price reclaims and holds above $82,500. I’m not chasing ETH longs for now; I’ll wait for it to reclaim and hold above $2,420 and for ETH/BTC to strengthen before considering a position.
