One slip, and the private key was exposed—half the tokens were gone in seconds, worth around $40K 😂

A creator launched a meme coin called $MIKA on pump.fun, intending to share the contract address with her followers. But she fumbled the copy and paste, accidentally posting the private key to the dev wallet holding roughly half the supply. The post was deleted quickly, but on-chain bots don’t wait around.

Within about 60 to 90 seconds, 500 million tokens were transferred away, then dumped all at once for around 380 SOL, worth roughly $38,000 to $40,000. She later admitted it was the dumbest copy-paste mistake of her career. Some people in the community and on-chain were watching the timeline and thought it looked way too staged; others said it was just an honest slip-up.

In the shitcoin-launching world, private keys and contract addresses don’t look anything alike. But when you’re nervous on a livestream and caught up in the hype, one wrong paste can put it in the wrong box. Just watching it makes your back go cold.
