10.29 Gold Morning Outlook

The Fed meeting at 2 a.m. didn’t cause much of a stir, and gold prices reacted only slightly. When Waller’s remarks came out at 2:30, prices surged directly from around 4022 to around 4078, gaining more than 50 points in the short term. After the Asian session opened, gold pulled back to around 2047. $XAU A Yue gave the buy call around 4020 in advance in the early hours, and it was spot on! I wonder how many people caught that move of more than 50 points? A quick recap of yesterday’s trades: all seven live trades closed without a single loss, for a total gain of more than $67,000!

Looking at the four-hour chart, gold rallied after forming a base, then met resistance after reaching a high near 4078. It is currently consolidating around 4048. The chart has formed a bearish candle, giving back some of the gains, but this is a normal technical pullback after a sharp rise. Prices are steadily moving higher overall, and technically, any pullback offers a chance to get on board. For now, I don’t recommend blindly chasing prices at these levels. Wait patiently for prices to pull back into the 4020–4030 range and stabilize, then look to buy on the dip in the direction of the trend.

$XAUT Gold: Buy on a pullback to around 4020–4030, with a target above 4070.
