🇧🇷 Binance seeks regulatory authorization in Brazil ⚖️
#Binance formally applied for its regulatory authorization in Brazil before the established deadline (October 30).
To comply with the new regulations of the Central Bank of Brazil,
the platform was forced to take drastic local measures, including:
➡️ Restricting 8 services for users in the country.
➡️ Removing (delisting) 22 cryptocurrencies or tokens from its offering in that market.
To comply with the regulations of the Central Bank of Brazil, Binance is adjusting its operations in the country to ensure a framework of full regulatory compliance.
Starting October 29, 2026, all users in Brazil will have an individual payment account with Binance Brasil Corretora de Câmbio e Valores Mobiliários S.A.
(formerly known as Sim;paul Corretora de Câmbio e Valores Mobiliários S.A., with CNPJ 68.757.681/0001-70), which will be responsible for processing all transactions made in Brazilian reais.
Meanwhile, virtual asset services authorized under local regulations will be offered by BBrasil Sociedade Prestadora de Serviços de Ativos Virtuais Ltda. (with CNPJ 68.627.500/0001-91), a company belonging to the Binance Group.
The platform emphasizes that these changes are purely operational and that users’ funds and assets are completely safe and protected.
The main aim of these changes is to provide greater security, more transparent oversight of funds and virtual assets, and an optimized experience on the platform.
