🔷 63% of corporations are looking into stablecoins
In brief: DBS Bank surveyed 422 CFOs at companies with revenue of $500 million or more. 88% use or are testing tokenized money.
But don’t get too excited. Only 24% have fully adopted it. Another 43% have implemented it in specific departments or regions, while 21% are piloting it.
What they’re using: stablecoins (63%), tokenized deposits (53%), tokenized money market funds (52%).
Why: traceability and auditing (72%), real-time cross-border payments (71%).
What’s holding them back: regulation, cybersecurity, a shortage of specialists, and integration.
My take: corporations are testing stablecoins for payments, not buying altcoins. But it does mean additional demand for infrastructure.
