🔷 Crypto Thoughts: Other People’s Confidence Is Contagious

I noticed something strange.
When I come up with an idea of my own, I start putting it through the wringer. What if I’m wrong? What if I’ve overlooked something important? Maybe I should check everything again?

But then I see someone else’s post making a confident claim, and something inside me switches.
“It’s obvious. There’s no doubt about it.”

And suddenly I see my own idea differently. Even though no new facts have come to light. Someone just put it more convincingly.

The most interesting part is that we see other people’s confidence, but not all the doubts they may have kept behind the scenes. They can be just as wrong as we are. They just say it more eloquently and leave out the word “maybe.”

I’ve been through this myself. Sometimes I didn’t want to figure out what was going on—I just wanted to find someone who would say, “Yes, you’ve got it right.”

Because your own decision comes with responsibility. And someone else’s confidence lets you share that burden for a while.
But a confident tone isn’t proof. And having doubts doesn’t necessarily mean your idea is bad.

Do you tend to trust your own logic or other people’s confidence?
