① The EVM (Ethereum Virtual Machine) is the runtime environment for executing Ethereum smart contracts. Every node executes the same contract code according to the same rules.
② The EVM is a stack-based virtual machine. Each data unit (word) is 256 bits, and the stack has a maximum depth of 1024.
③ When using different EVM-compatible chains, addresses may look the same, but be sure to distinguish which chain your assets are on.
