Want to grow 1,000U into 10,000U? Learn these 6 trading rules first!
In crypto, the biggest risk isn’t having little capital—it’s having limited capital but always hoping to turn everything around with one big trade.
I’ve seen too many people get carried away after a few wins, then rush to win back their losses after one bad trade, only to give all their profits back in the end. $EVAA
If you want to grow your account steadily, remember these 6 rules.
First, start small and learn from mistakes. Don’t go all in right away.
With a 1,000U account, work out the risk for each trade first. Don’t go heavy just because you spot an opportunity. Keep some funds in reserve so you can keep trading.
Second, only trade markets you understand.
Support and resistance should be clear, the trend should be defined, and the risk-reward ratio should make sense. If the conditions aren’t right, be patient and wait.
Third, always plan your stop-loss in advance.
For example, if you’re willing to lose no more than 20U on a trade, calculate your position size based on the stop-loss distance. If you’re wrong, accept it. Don’t hold onto a losing position or add to it. $AKE
Fourth, don’t impulsively add to a position just because you’re in profit.
Only consider adjusting your position if the market still fits your plan. If the trend weakens, reduce your position promptly. Don’t let profits go to your head.
Fifth, as your account grows, your discipline shouldn’t change.
Growing a 1,000U account to 3,000U doesn’t mean you can casually increase your position size. The more capital you have, the more important it is to manage risk.
Sixth, protect your gains after making money.
Once your account reaches its target, you can withdraw some of your profits according to plan. Unrealized gains aren’t the same as money in your pocket. Protect what you’ve earned before thinking about your next move. $AGT
At the end of the day, there’s no surefire formula for growing 1,000U into 10,000U. Short-term returns may come down to luck; long-term trading depends on discipline and risk management.
Compounding your position isn’t about taking bigger and bigger risks. It’s about knowing the most you can lose at every step.
