When asked, “How would you explain $DOGE in one sentence?”, I’ve recently changed my answer: start with April 20.

There was no official announcement that day; it was a date the community chose to celebrate together. The fact that a coin’s anniversary is set by its users says more about who maintains it than any document does.

The launch date, December 6, is written in the records; April 20 is written into people’s habits. When I explain it, I’d rather start with the habit, even though people who ask often feel that doesn’t sound like an answer.

#Dogecoin $DOGE Investment involves risk. This is solely my personal observation and is not a buy or sell recommendation.
