$SKHY Better than expected, as expected—and there are a few particularly noteworthy things to keep in mind:
1. Around 100 trillion won in total for fiscal 2026: at least 30 trillion in cash dividends and at least 60 trillion in share buybacks and cancellations. The 60 trillion includes the 40 trillion buyback launched in August and completed last week.
2. A new 20 trillion won buyback: 10 trillion of it will be used for cancellations; another roughly 10 trillion will go toward employee compensation and won’t count as shareholder returns.
3. DRAM and HBM capacity is basically sold out for the next three years.
4. 80% operating profit margin, with unbeatable pricing power. After looking at SK Hynix’s third-quarter earnings, all I can say is that the memory cycle isn’t over yet. The figures are absolutely staggering, especially the buybacks: this year, the company will complete 60 trillion won in share buybacks (followed by cancellation—in crypto terms, deflation).
Keep in mind that $SKHY has a total market cap of only 1,063 trillion won, so it’s going to deflate by 5.6% in a year... That’s more aggressive burning than many crypto projects.
Anyway, I’ve already maxed out my short-term position in $SKHY , and I’m bullish on its short-term prospects.
