Japan Bitcoin Industry plans to raise approximately 800 million yen in Bitcoin through a third-party allotment, with the capital contribution expected to be paid on 2/11.

According to the official announcement, the two investors are the Japanese entities of Fulgur Ventures and ANAP Lightning Capital. The entire amount will be contributed in Bitcoin.

The company plans to use the funds raised to develop Lightning Network payment infrastructure such as aurora, recruit staff, operate routing activities, and conduct research and development.

Japan Bitcoin Industry has also signed a framework agreement with ANAP Lightning Capital to cooperate on routing, and plans to use the Bitcoin held by its partner as liquidity for Lightning Network channels.
