【Market Update】Solflare validator key compromised, staking rewards halted—official takeaway: your SOL is untouched.
The service provider’s key was affected, and the validator has gone offline, so there are currently no rewards. Delegated SOL remains in users’ staking accounts and is controlled only by users’ keys; the validator cannot move it.
Once a new validator is online, simply follow the in-app instructions to migrate, and compensation will be provided for the migration. Custody was not affected—the issue was with the intermediary. Keep staking, or withdraw for now and wait and see?
