Sometimes that lack of excitement is more misleading, making you think, “I can hold on a little longer.” The cost of holding on longer is often settled all at once on the day of the pullback.
A modest gain can still be followed by a pullback twice as large. Volume has only just cleared the threshold, and liquidity is nothing to write home about. In a thin market, a plan matters more than a prediction: if you can’t clearly spell out your reason for entering, your exit conditions, and whether to reduce your position overnight, don’t trade. Even if you can, don’t go heavy—a thin market doesn’t deserve a large position.
I'll treat it as an observation sample to practice discipline, not as a gamble on turning things around. Save the comeback story for something bigger—and for deeper liquidity.
