📋 Cryptocurrency Basics | How to Read Candlesticks
· Key point: The bars below candlesticks generally show trading volume, indicating how much was traded during each period. The volume bars are usually the same color as the corresponding candlesticks.
· Principle: A long upper wick is often interpreted as the price rising sharply before encountering selling pressure, while a long lower wick is often seen as buying pressure emerging at lower levels. However, a single candlestick cannot tell you what will happen next.
· Note: When setting a stop-loss, take sudden movements such as long wicks into account. If the stop-loss price is set too close, it may be triggered accidentally.
