#Strive Raises Its Bitcoin Holdings to 43,000
Strive snapped up another 6,182 bitcoins this week.
The SEC filing submitted on October 26 spells out the details.
The purchases were made between October 17 and 23.
The average price was about $82,732, including fees.
Its holdings rose from 36,818 to 43,000 bitcoins.
The same filing included two other details.
Cash and cash equivalents rose from $317.5 million to $504.4 million.
A separate prospectus supplement also authorized a $1 billion offering.
It’s for Series A perpetual preferred stock paying a 15% dividend, ticker SATS.
Half of these coins were funded with equity, and half with high-interest notes.
When Bitcoin rises, this structure works smoothly.
When prices move sideways, preferred-stock dividends can quickly become a cash-flow burden.
For crypto treasury companies, the competition now isn’t about who buys the most.
It’s about the gap between financing costs and the cost of holding Bitcoin.
Do you think an average price of $82,000 is buying the dip or chasing the rally? Let’s talk in the comments.
